In “Obscure space” I designed a space that can make people recognize each other by conversation and characteristics rather than by their appearance or cultural identity so people can feel more comfortable in the space. Glass ball lamps hanging from the ceiling placed at the height of people’s face. Glass balls have bumpy surface and colour which make people’s face blur and so difficult to identify their appearances.

This space can be used as a community space where people can meet new people as this space can help to get to know each other without being judged by their appearance.
