Story by Rina Miyake
Walking through the corridor of a simple white house, I found a small queer creature crawling on the floor moving towards the small hole in the wall. The creature has no legs with two arms growing from its huge eye. Moving its arms right to left slowly, approaching the hole in the wall. After I saw the creature disappear into the hole, I quickly searched for the other side of the hole in the house. I found the other small hole high on the wall. As I gaze into the hole waiting for the creature to come out after a while the creature finally shows up. As I continue observing this creature, its arms suddenly disappeared into its eye and instead of that, white wings pop out from behind the eye. Elegantly, the creature spread its wings and landed on the floor.
As following this creepy creature enters a huge white room, there appears something strange stuff all over the space. A huge bed with an ocean wave blanket at the centre of the room creates a salting smell and a roaring water sound in the room. Looking closer at the wave and then find out a small duck sleeping in the bed peacefully.
Milk flowing out from the pipe on the wall is making milk puddles on the floor. Lotus leaves on the floor swimming around the room, and one of the leaves is poking my leg and then continuing back to float and wander.
In the dark corner of the room, a lamp is looking up boring lights of itself, staying in the darkness. On the other corner, a skull wearing a crown is laughing and making a cracking noise.
Every time the skull moves its head, small skulls under it are dropping down happily.
As moving around the room observing the creatures inhabiting there, I noticed a huge mirror with the frame of a skull and leaves. In the frame, there are small snakes slithering around. When looking at myself through the mirror, I noticed my face was covered by a black shade and slowly losing my features.
Am I turning into one of the strange creatures in the room?
